Phi Delta Epsilon Fundraiser for Kosair Hospital

Hey! Phi Delta Epsilon is pleased to announce that we are partnering up with Sweet Savannah’s Frozen Yogurt and Toppings on Nov. 4th to help raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network at Kosair Children’s Hospital.

Every year, we raise money for Children’s Miracle Network so that children may receive life-saving surgeries and treatments without regard to the family’s ability to pay. The money that is raised is used specifically at Kosair, so every penny that we can raise goes toward the care of sick children, many of whom come from KY and southern IN.

Sweet Savannah’s Frozen Yogurt and Toppings is donating a generous 10% of the daily sales, so come on out and enjoy some frozen yogurt while also giving back to our community and our children!

    Why are we walking?

One of Mercy Academy's senior service groups focus is on cancer patients. As an indirect service group we have created a team to walk with us on November 23, 2013 at the St.Jude walk. We want to give back and do what we can to help the people in our own community. We have a goal of raising $1,500.00 but we are pushing for more than that. We are just regular students with huge hearts and big goals. As a class we know we can make a significant difference, but we beed help from YOU!

Below is a picture of the t-shirt design we have created for those who want t-shirts.

INDY OR BUST!! Please join us for a tasty treat on September 14th and help the Lyndon Lightning Senior Football Team make their dream come true of playing on the Colts field in Lucas Oil Stadium come true.

Frozen Yogurt at Sweet Savannah's is the perfect treat after a long, hot football game. The senior football team is made up of boys ages 11-13 from all over the city. It's not only a great way to raise money for our Indy trip in November but a great way for the boys to spend time together. Every year at the end of the season, the boys get to watch a Colts game and then play on the field of Lucas Oil Stadium. It's such an amazing trip for them...not to mention the parents. Some of our kids are on scholarships to play and it makes it tough for the parents to find the extra money for this amazing trip.

Sweet Savannah's is thrilled to help the boys at the Lyndon Lightning Senior Football Team in making the trip to play on the field of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis possible!  Sweet Savannah's will donate 10% of our entire daily sales on September 14th to the team.  Monetary donations to go directly to the team will also be accepted.  So grab your friends and make sure you stop by for a tasty treat at Sweet Savannah's this coming Saturday!

  • Anti-Trafficking Fundraiser

Come out to Sweet Savannah's on Monday, October 1st, between the hours of 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm to fight the traffic! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Scarlet Hope. The website is ScarletHope.org.

Hello, our names are Taylor Theodore, Amanda Ferrill, and Danielle Yancey. We are seniors at Mercy Academy. Human Trafficking is a major issue in our society. Our society does not know enough about it to fight it. We took on the challenge of being advocates for trafficked victims for our senior service project.

To achieve this, we are working with a local agency called Scarlet Hope. They spread the love of Jesus Christ to dancers by going to clubs and sharing a meal. They have women who come to prayer groups held at Scarlet Hope get the support they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our job is to watch the children of the women while they are in their prayer groups. We are also helping Scarlet Hope finish the house they plan to open in January as a shelter. Our objective is to raise awareness about Human Trafficking. We plan to do this by raising funds for Scarlet Hope and educating our community. Join us on October 6 at Tom Sawyer for the Stop the Traffic 5K. You can find more information on the website: stopthetraffic.org. Interested in our project? Email us at mercy.service131@yahoo.com to get information about our upcoming Comminity Education Night. Come out to Sweet Savannah's on Monday, October 1st  to fight the traffic!

The Youth Ministry of Parkland Baptist Church would like to thank the owners, management and staff of Sweet Savannah's Frozen Yogurt for the help they have given us this summer.  Sweet Savannah's offered us the opportunity to do a fundraiser as we prepared to conduct a summer mission trip to Illinois.  During our time there we worked with five churches and a camp. The 37 youth and 27 adults conducted three Back Yard Bible Clubs, painted the exterior of 12 cabins, redid a neighborhood playground, painted a sanctuary, put in two water lines, put on a roof, re-did two restrooms, built two dressing rooms for the baptistry, and most important, shared the love of Jesus with six communities. The money that was raised at Sweet Savannah's helped with this project.

Earlier this year, Sweet Savannah's hosted its first fundraiser event together with 7u River City Thunder Baseball team.

Sweet Savannah's has been a great supporter of our 7u River City Thunder Baseball team! Because of their sponsorship, we've been able to purchase equipment for our team and keep the travel ball experience affordable for many families. Likewise, the willingness of Sweet Savannah's to hold fundraising events at their store has been amazing. We look forward to many more events there and to many more seasons partnering with Sweet Savannah's!! It's our teams favorite place for cool treats after a weekend of games!!

We are only happy to help - go 7u River City Thunder Baseball team!
